    Fanfare for Two Alphorns One Whole Step Apart is a composition for an alphorn in one key, and

     The First Noel

 

     One trumpet in this arrangement plays with a Harmon mute, a bucket (or cup) mute and doubles on 

     piccolo trumpet, while the other opens with a Flugelhorn and switches to trumpet. The piece can be

     challenging as there are many key changes and the trumpets play in a high range within the

     composition.

    This arrangement of the Bach masterpiece divides the chorale tune and the best of the melodic
